dbMotion, a provider of virtual patient record solutions, completed a $10.2 million financing round (Series B) led by Gemini Israel Funds. Existing shareholders, Vertex Venture Capital and Pitango Venture Capital, also participated in this round. In its previous financing round, in early 2004, dbMotion raised $6 million from Vertex and Pitango.

The dbMotion Solution creates secured Virtual Patient Records by logically connecting a group of care providers and organizations without data centralization. The Solution puts integrated patient information at caregivers’ fingertips, enabling clinical staff to make better care decisions, shorten care cycles and improve the quality of care.

dbMotion was established in 2004 as a spin-off of Ness-ISI, a division of Ness Technologies, which is a shareholder in dbMotion. Headquartered in Ra’anana, Israel, dbMotion employs a staff of 80 in Israel and the US.
